The world today idolizes the Body. It idolizes the emotional reactions to words, actions, and experiences. It fears what it can’t control and works till it’s dying day to control what it can’t.
Jesus has defeated the greatest enemy in the past, today, and the future. We will all die. Physically we will perish. Our world idolizes health and wellness for the life we live. In the end, all of the health and wellness activities will prove to be useless.
“But let me tell you a wonderful secret God has revealed to us. Not all of us will die but we will be transformed.” 1 Cor 15:51
We have to look outside of ourselves to find actual rescue from what people are afraid of. While we may struggle through the life we live we do have hope and direction. “In that day he will remove the cloud of gloom, the shape of death that hangs over the shadow of death that hangs over the earth” Isaiah 25:7
What is our next step to finding the freedom from the sting of death?
“How we we thank God who gives us victory over sin and death through Jesus Christ our Lord“ 1Cor 15:57. The whole Gospel message explains our state of being snd Gods solution. The Gospel, “good news” tells us there is another way to live and be free from the perishing of the body and effects from this world.
We have two options, live in this world and perish our have victory over sin and death? Which will you choose?
